Welcome to The Portal. I chose the name because I see this as a window through which we will view each other and the challenges (particularly professional challenges) we face in getting our message out to clients and customers. Of particular interest to me are communications (trends, metrics, topics of the day), small business, and the whole realm of social media.
This is my first post and I’m still sorting out what to say in this space that will bring value to you and your organization.
Expect a variety of content: links to tips and tricks I’ve found helpful and hope you might as well; a few random items to amuse or confound; along with occasional references to concerns or events of great importance to me. I want this to be a dialogue — but I’m new to the medium and am certain I’ll make mistakes. One of my highest goals, over time, is to be a good steward of your time and attention.
